My husband and I have just come back from living overseas for 8.5 years. We arrived back in the UK on the 2nd of March 2009, so have only been back for a few weeks of the tax year. I have a rental property overseas (Australia). I have to do a tax return every year in Australia for this property. Neither myself or my husband are working at the moment and haven't worked since arriving back. Do I need to do a tax return this year (2009) for the UK, I would really appreciate anyones advice, Many thanks

We operate htttp://www.onpulseproperty.com We represent buyers looking to find properties overseas. Since the start of the Year 09' we have scene Greece and Egypt inquiries increase whilst buyer interest in most other territories have tailed off. Naturally registrations on our site does not constitute an accurate test of the market so i was just wanting to try and generate debate on Egypt as a Holiday and Investment option.

For example would you invest in a Caribbean property that is not yet built, where the deposit is £1000 and the developer has no other properties up and running yet, though some are already built but not being used?

I was looking on the internet and came across houses which were really cheap and I was wondering why this was? http://www.rightmove.co.uk/overseas-property/find/USA.html?locationIdentifier=WORLD_REGION%5E190&sortByPriceDescending=false&maxPrice=300000 I'm from England and property prices over here are sky-high, even during the economic crisis. To find a 3-bedbroom semi-detached house in America for around $10,000 is quite a shock. That amount wouldn't even buy you a garage here. I'm only seventeen years of age but wouldn't it be nice to invest in a property this young. What a dream that would be...

Resolved Question: Overseas Estate Agents?

Hello, I live in UK and have a fully furnished property to let in India so I am looking for some estate agents in UK/US/Europe/Asia regions. Now, If I am searching for 'overseas estate agents' in search engines - there are tons of them - what do I do ? Is there anyway that I can find the database of all these overseas property agents countrywise and send my property profile to all of them in a group email sort of ? I mean its not possible to drop an individual email to all of them - they are millions ! If I can just one group email - that's what I am looking for. Also, If someone can please list a top 10 sort of 'overseas estate agents' of UK (US/European countries/Asia will be even great) then I can initially focus my attention on them. Thanks. Hello kemperk, I've no idea what are you talking about sir ? Are you sure you are answering the right question ? If yes, I am too naive to understand it - I think I am just looking to rent my property here and for that I need estate agents - whats 'illegal' in it? Thanks.

I have a property related website - its for holiday home owners to advertise their property for sale or rent privately - no agents, commission etc. I have done a lot of the free SEO - ie I have a blog, keywords on website, submit articles, directories etc and now I am ready to step things up a bit... I have already paid for an advert in a property/holiday publication... What is better - pay per click with Google OR paying a UK company to send a mailshot to their opt-in list of consumers who have registered an interest in overseas property in some way (maybe ticked a survey that they own a holiday home etc) PPC looks to be a lot cheaper - mailshots are around £100 per thousand emails (the price goes down the more you send) Any advice on how to increase exposure for my website and whether PPC or consumer emails are worth it and which is better? Thanks a lot

I have seen an overseas property that i would like to buy for an investment but am unsure about the company, their website is rubbish and suspect, however some parts of them make me think they're kosher. Could anyone tell me if they have dealt with them, and if so, what were they like to deal with? Thanks
