I wanted to buy a house in England and initally was said I could take mortgage upto about £80 000. Then they declined my application for a house costing £60 000 due to poor credit rating. Now I saw very cheap houses abroad, about £15 000-30 000 which I am interested in. Do I have any chance to buy? I earn about £1000 monthly, have no loans, don't owe anything and have about £7000 savings. I don't understand why I have poor credit rating, when I don't owe to anyone and pay everything on time. For the second person: I do have saving which is equal to 70% of the price of the cheapest property I saw. Also I haven't been refused mortgage in my country but in England (where I am working at the moment). What do British people do if they want to buy holiday property abroad while not having the money to buy, when you claim that it is not possible to get mortgage on a property abroad at all. Does everyone have to buy for the full price?
